Customers can choose to become members or use non-members to check out. You can set membership levels, membership benefits, membership points, etc. to attract customers to become members.
When a new member places an order in the online store, his or her name, phone number, email address, and shipping address will be added to his or her membership account.
Customers can also add phone numbers, email addresses, birthdays and other information to their membership accounts so that they can be automatically filled in during the checkout process. Customers can also view their order history from your store and view the current order status of the items they purchased.

Add new member account
Customers can register for a membership account in the store.
You can manually add member accounts for customers, or you can easily import member information from other channels (physical stores, other online platforms) into the Boutir membership system to automatically create member accounts.
Add a new member account from a paid order
step:
- Log in Boutir CMS, click "Order" and select "Paid".
- Click "Add Paid Order".
- You can directly select an existing member when searching for a member location or enter a name and click "Create New Customer" to create a member account for an unregistered customer.
- Select the "Add as a member" option, and be sure to confirm that the email address you entered can receive emails normally, because after creating a membership account, the system will send a confirmation email for customers to log in and confirm for the first time (this is required for subsequent logins) Login with this email address).
Add a new member account from an unpaid order
step:
- Log in Boutir CMS, click "Order" and select "Unpaid (Place an order on behalf of a customer)".
- Click "Add Unpaid Order" and select "Personal Order".
- You can directly select an existing member when searching for a member location or enter a name and click "Create New Customer" to create a member account for an unregistered customer.
- Select the "Add as a member" option, and be sure to confirm that the email address you entered can receive emails normally, because after creating a membership account, the system will send a confirmation email for customers to log in and confirm for the first time (this is required for subsequent logins) Login with this email address).
Add single or multiple member accounts
(Use .csv file to import member information)
step:
- Log in Boutir CMS, click "Customers" and select "All Members".
- Click "Import new members" and select "Download sample file here" to download.
- Fill in the member information in the sample file according to the sample format, and save the file as a .csv file after completion.
- Return to the "Import New Member" page and click "Select File" to upload.
Things to note:
- You cannot modify member information through .csv files. Please see "Editing Member Information" for specific operations.
- You can manually add membership accounts for individual customers when creating an order.
troubleshooting:
- Check whether the member information is filled in according to the sample format.
- The first row of the CSV must contain column headers, do not add, subtract or change the table format (straight columns).
- Each time you upload, you must newly download the file "Please download the sample file here" and edit it in it.
- Please fill in all member information. The phone number must be a mobile number and cannot be the same as that of others.
- At least one phone number or email address must exist.
- "Member Points" is necessary and must exist, but the value can be blank. If this field is missing, you will receive an error when exporting the CSV file.
- The two membership examples in the sample file are for reference only, please do not save them when uploading your membership information.
- You can only import customer CSV files that are no more than 15 MB in size. If the file is too large, please use multiple CSV files to import member data, with a maximum of 500 member data each time.
- Garbled characters appear because the CSV file is not in UTF-8 format. Please save the CSV file in UTF-8 format. To access a formatted version of a CSV file, you can import it Google trial balance。
Search member accounts
If you want to search for members to view or edit member accounts, you can use the Customers page.
You can view information such as the total number of members, the number of new members in the last 7 days, the current membership level settings and membership points settings in the "Overview".
If you want to search for members, you can enter the member's name, email or phone number in "All Members" to search.
In addition, you can also use the "Filter" function to search based on membership level, membership status (new registration (within 7 days) / unchecked shopping cart) and net consumption.
Use the "Search" function

- Log in Boutir CMS, click on the "Customers" page and select "All Members".
- In the Search field, enter one of the customer details:
- Member name
- email address
- telephone number
- In the list of search results, click the member account you want to view.
Use the "Filter" function

- Log in Boutir CMS, click on the "Customers" page and select "All Members".
- Click "Filter" and select the following criteria:
- Membership level
- Membership status (new registration (within 7 days) / unchecked shopping cart)
- net consumption
- In the list of search results, click the member account you want to view.
Edit member profile
You can edit your membership level and membership points on the membership page. If you need to edit a member's login method and multiple accounts, you need to use the "Merge Accounts" function. Please refer to "Merge Accounts" for specific operations.
You can also change the email address in the order/shipping note for a member, but this will not change the email address in their account.
Change email address for paid orders
step:
- Log in Boutir CMS, click on the "Order" page and select "Paid".
- Select the order that needs to be modified.
- Click "Edit" in the customer.
- Click "Save" when you are finished modifying your email address.
Things to note:
- The modified email address is only applicable to this order. You can click "Resend Email" to send the order email to the customer's new email address.
- There is a quota of 5 re-emails for each order.
- If you need to change your membership phone number, please contact Boutir Customer Service。
Please note that we are not involved in any communication between merchants and their members, and merchants should obtain members' consent before changing their account phone numbers.
We are not responsible for any problems or losses caused by changing member account phone numbers.
Delete member account or customer profile
You cannot delete a customer's personal information or membership account, but you can use "Merge Account" to merge the membership account into yours. Only you can log in or view the records of that account.
Please note: Member accounts cannot be restored once merged. For specific operations, please refer to "Merge Accounts".

Customers can register as members through four methods to obtain the benefits of new members. In order to facilitate merchants to manage multiple accounts of one member, you can use "Merge Account" to integrate member accounts and unify their login methods.
step:
- Log in Boutir CMS, click on the "Customers" page and select "All Members".
- You can use member name/email/phone number to search whether related accounts use the same information.
- Select the member accounts that need to be merged, and then click "Merge Accounts".
(A maximum of 5 accounts can be combined at a time. After completion, you can combine them again until completed. This situation applies to a member with more than 5 accounts)
- Select the number of points you wish to be awarded or deducted, and select an expiration date.
- Optional: Description
- After completion, click "Confirm"/"Next" and then "Confirm".
- Select "Set as Primary Account" to decide which account will remain the primary account, and this login method will become the only login method for this member in the future.
- If you need to find out whether the same information (e.g. phone number, email address) is used by other accounts, you can select "Add Member" and enter the information to search and add it to the combined list.
- Check whether the merged data is correct. If confirmed, click "Merge" to complete.
Things to note:
- Once the merger is confirmed, the operation cannot be canceled. Please check the membership information before confirming.
- After the merger, the member's login method will be the main account, and the information can be viewed in the main account.
- Member order records and member points will be automatically organized into the main account after merging the member accounts.
- The merged data cannot be reused.
For example :
After the email address cs@boutir.com is merged into the main account with phone number 94512053, it is no longer possible to register a new account and log in using the email address cs@boutir.com.
- Unpaid orders will only appear in the main account after payment is confirmed.
