Import member information
(Only applicable to Boutir CMS operation)
Steps:
- From the Boutir CMS, go to People > All Members.
- Click Import new member.
- Click Download Member Import Template here to download the .csv file.
- You can use Google sheet/Excel to open the sample file and fill in the imported member information according to the format.
- After completion, be sure to save it in CSV format and click Choose a file to upload the CSV file.
- Click Upload.
Notes:
- Please read the relevant step-by-step instructions before using the sample file to avoid filling in errors.
- If there are any errors, the system will list the parts that need to be modified. Please modify the wrong parts based on the data and then repeat the upload steps.
- Member information cannot be modified through CSV files. For specific operations, see "Editing Member Information."
- You can manually add membership accounts for individual customers when creating an order.
Troubleshooting:
- Ensure that member information is filled in according to the sample format.
- The first row of the CSV file must contain column headers. Do not add, remove, or alter the column format (i.e., keep the columns straight).
- Every time you upload, you must download the file from Download Member Import Template here and then edit it.
- Fill in all member information. The phone number must be a mobile number and must be unique (no duplicates).
- At least one of the following must be provided: phone number or email address.
- The "Member Points" field is required and must be present, though the value can be left blank. If this field is missing, an error will occur when exporting the CSV file.
- Ensure the membership level names are completely correct, including case sensitivity, and that the default level is "basic."
- The two membership examples in the sample file are for reference only. Do not keep them when uploading your member data.
- You can only import customer CSV files that are no larger than 15 MB. If the file exceeds this limit, split the data into multiple CSV files, with a maximum of 500 members per upload.
- Garbled text may appear if the CSV file is not saved in UTF-8 format. Please save the CSV file in UTF-8 format. You can import the file into Google Sheets to view it in a proper format.
