Import products using CSV file

(Only applicable to Boutir CMS operation)

Steps:

  1. From the Boutir CMS, go to Products > Product List.
  2. Click Import/Update Excel.
  3. Select a template (Basic or Template with Variants) and click Download.
  4. Edit the product information in the downloaded Excel file.
  5. When finished, click Next and then click the "+" button to add the file.
  6. Click Next again. *If there are any errors, make the necessary edits as indicated and re-upload.
  7. Click Upload.

Notes:

  • Fill in the product information according to the template format and save the file as an .xlsx.
  • Only upload .xlsx files; other formats are not supported.
  • Do not add or remove columns.
  • Do not change the product number or link information; keep them intact.
  • If using a photo hosted on platforms like Dropbox or Google Photos, paste the image URL into the file (Facebook photos are not recommended).
  • Modified products will automatically generate new QR codes.

Export products using CSV file

(Only applicable to Boutir CMS operation)

Steps:

  1. From the Boutir CMS, go to Products > Product List.
  2. Click Export Excel.
  3. Select Click here to download the file.

How to Fix CSV Import and Export Issues

If the CSV file contains Chinese characters, do not open the file directly to avoid garbled text.

Steps:

  1. Create a new blank workbook in Excel: Go to File > New > Blank Workbook.
  2. In the new workbook, navigate to Data > Get Data > From File > From Workbook.
  3. Import the downloaded CSV file (ensure "All Files" is selected).
  4. In the File Origin dropdown, select Unicode (UTF-8).
  5. Set the Delimiter to Comma.
  6. Click Load.
