In the era of digital marketing, the consumption model has shifted online, where customers can shop via mobile phones. For online sellers, to increase their business volume, they must first understand their customers deeply. Boutir understands the importance of data for sellers to be able to analyze customers’ data.
With this in mind, we've launched the Smart Sales Manager feature, so merchants don't have to analyze complex Google Analytics data. We will roll out total sales, number of discontinued shopping carts, number of visitors, most popular products and traffic sources. Merchants can view all such information in the Boutir app. We will display the data collected in the last 7 days, and updated at 6 am every day. This first stage will apply to all users of the Starter plan and Business plan. If users of the trial plan want to access this data, they must upgrade their Boutir package first.
Here are useful details of this feature:
1. Total sales (data updated every day at 6 am)
The total number of businesses in the last 7 days will be displayed, so you don't have to bother adding or subtracting manually. At the same time, it also makes it easy for you to compare weekly sales performance and adjust your sales and promotion strategies.
2. Number of shopping carts that have not been processed (data updated every day at 6 am)
The number of pending shopping carts is caused by customers who have added items to the cart but have not checked out. According to data from well-known international e-commerce consultants, 9.58% of customers will add goods to the shopping cart, but for various reasons, only 2.95% of customers will pay for the purchase. In other words, 7 out of 10 people leave items in their shopping carts. Through this information on the number of shopping carts that have not been continued, the seller can take appropriate action. Have customers not bought because of price issues? Is there a problem with the payment method? Product problem? Or for some other reason?
At a later stage, Boutir's Smart Sales Manager can remind customers of their unpaid shopping cart, and can even send them discount codes to encourage purchase action.
3. Number of visitors (data updated every day at 6 am)
The total number of people who visited your store in the last 7 days will be displayed. This can make it easier for you to compare the number of visitors per week at once to adjust your sales and promotion strategy.
4. Most popular products (data updated every day at 6 am)
Your most popular products will be displayed, and you can see how many people have viewed them. Click on “popular products” to see a ranking of the most viewed products. The "eye" symbol represents the number of people who have viewed the product, and the "shopping cart" symbol represents the number of people who have purchased the product. The "funnel" symbol in the upper right corner acts as a filter, and it allows you to view data for specific days.
There are several benefits to product popularity: you can strengthen the promotion of the product, and you can also launch the same type of product to attract more customers. At the same time, you can also adjust the sales and pricing strategies of other products, and think of different ways to drive sales.
5. Traffic sources
Your online store traffic sources will be displayed, categorized into five main sources: Facebook, Instagram, Google, "Other" and "Direct". The two traffic sources that generate the most visitors will be displayed in the Boutir app.
- Facebook: Customers who use Facebook as a portal to visit online stores
- Instagram: Customers who use Instagram as a portal to visit online stores
- Google: Customers who enter the store through Google ads
- "Others": Customers who use Bing, Yahoo, Youtube, or other references to visit online stores
- "Live": Customers who use social chat widgets or browse by URL to visit online stores
For online business success, you need to understand the sources of traffic. Suppose most of your customers come from 'Facebook', then you have to strengthen Facebook promotions. If a lot of customers are from 'Google', then you know that a lot of people are browsing about this type of product. If most customers visit your online store with a 'Direct' URL, you can see that perhaps fewer customers have interacted about your social media.
